Shot of the interior atrium of the state capitol building in Hartford, CT. Captured with my Sony A7 (original) with SEL1018 ultrawide zoom. All shot at the ideal focal setting of 15mm, so that's a true 15mm WA on the full frame Sony. As you may know, this is a cropped frame lens, but works in the middle of the 10-18mm range quite well on the A7. Lens also has the benefit of being stabilized, so my A7 behaves as well as the A7ii in low light at around 400 ISO at f/8, handheld.

Miami photographer, Brian Smith, first make me aware through his website of the virtues of the Sony SEL1018 ultra wide zoom for a variety of uses. For those who don't already know, this is a cropped sensor lens that will do double-duty on Sony full frame A7 series in the 14-16mm range. The sweet spot for me has been at 15mm where I find there is virtually no vignetting. This example is from a shoot I did with the A7 and 10-18 mounted at the Connecticut State Capitol building in Hartford, Connecticut USA. Edges are sharp, as is the center and vignetting is controlled completely with some LR post processing.
