  1. From the album: Sierra Nevada

This is a photograph of the historic Millerton Courthouse with a storm approaching. It is above Millerton Lake. Millerton Lake is a half million acre foot reservoir near Fresno CA. It is fed by the San Joaquin River. I used a Leica M Elmarit 28mm f2.8 lens @ 2.8.

  2. From the album: Sierra Nevada

This is a photograph of the Millerton Courthouse which is the only remaining structure from the town of Millerton, the original county seat of Fresno County CA. As the dam was being constructed on the San Joaquin River, the courthouse was razed and reconstructed on high ground to preserve it from being submerged in the future .5 million acre foot Millerton Reservoir. What remains of the town is now hundreds of feet below the lake. There is no camera data available. The photograph was taken with a Sony A7R2 and an adapted Leica M Elmarit 28mm f2.8. other Sony photos with the adapted Leica lens can be viewed here. http://midsierramusing.blogspot.com/2017/01/leica-m-elmarit-28mm-f28-and-sony-a7r2.html
