  1. Is there a way, or a setting I'm missing that will make the the focus distance when manual focusing, stay constant after a power cycle? I know this seems like a fussy issue to most, but when you do complex still like setups that require multiple exposures that need to be in perfect register for compositing in post, it can be a major issue. Ideas? I cant find anything online about this.

  3. Hello there, i am a new member of this forum. Just wondering if anyone can give me a suggestion. I tested my Sony a7ii with MF Canon FDn 500mm f/4.5 L lens, mounted on a CF tripod (Sirui N-2204), steady shot set at 500mm then shot on and off both mode, shutter speed around 1/800 to 1/1500 but can not get a sharp image. I even can see on the magnified LCD (without touching anything) the picture is not stable, kind of vibrating. Is it camera problem or Tripod? Please help me.Thank you.
  4. Is there any way except focus magnification to improve the precision of the manual focus using peaking? When I used a Nikon FM2 the center prismatic focus aid was very crisp and with no slop. But the color peaking in my a6000 requires me to move the focus back and forth to find the center of a range of focus distances. I already use the most precise setting and both yellow and red depending upon the color(s) of the subject.
  5. Hi all, Just received my A7RII and newest version of the MB IV T from BH the other day. All of my Canon EF lenses were working as expected until late last night. All of a sudden, every EF lens I had caused the camera body to gray out the Focus Mode setting and was listed as "Manual Focus". Every time I try to change anything with the focus mode, it now tells me that it is "Invalid with this lens." I have made sure that all of the lenses are switched to AF, firmware on the MB is 45, body firmware is 2.00, detached body from adapter and adapter from lens and reattached. Nothing has worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
