  1. Just recently noticed that the WO button on my IV T adapter is no longer providing any tactile feedback. In other words, where it was lifting and depressing before, it is no longer providing any of that resistance/push after you actuate the button. It just kind of flops about with no tension. Anyone have this happen to them? If so, what was the fix? Hoping to be able to fix this ASAP as I only shoot adapted EF mount stuff on my Sony rig. Any help would be super greatly appreciated.
  2. Is there a way to shorten the image display time in the viewfinder after exposure? The default setting seems to be about 4-5 seconds. If possible, I would like to shorten it to 2 seconds. I have searched the menus and cannot see any way to do this, but I'm sure there is a way. It would be nice if Sony could supply comprehensive, easy-to-use manuals with their cameras like Canon does. I wish Canon would wake up to the fact that many photographers now prefer mirrorless cameras. They could build the A7rII ten times better than Sony. A Canon version of this camera would be far more rugged and easier to use.
  3. Since making the move from Canon, I bought three FE lenses to replace four Canon lenses. None of my Canon lenses were faster than F/4, so I never considered the gripe about the not having enough fast native glass for my new Sony. My only slight regret was loosing the 200-400 focal length when switching over, but realized I didn't use that focal length that often, and welcomed all the poundage I was not carrying anymore. Not looking back at my Canon gear, just loving the extra detail, and all the other ground breaking technology that got me to jump to Sony. 5 FPS, 200mm, 800th @5.6 is fast enough for me this day.

  6. Looking to others whom have the A7rII and the Metabones iv for Canon lens for some dialogue on getting the most out of the Canon lens on the A7rII. I'm having some success in the area of image quality with manual focus. Predominately shooting at iso 100 through to 400. Lens brought over from Canon is the newer 70-200 f 2.8 II and a 25 Tilt and Shift. Both of these are beautiful glass and would like to use them predominately in landscape, city scape and with the 70-200 some portraiture. Focusing is definitely not quick as Sony's own (which I have the 35 1.4, 50 1.8 and the 70-200 f4). Would like to hear others experience with the above adapter. Thank you Jim
  7. I'm absolutely in love with my Sony A7s as a B cam to my Sony FS7 (and sometimes primary since I work with gimbals so much). But, as a videographer who does a lot of documentary work, I'm in love with the idea of the Sony VG-9000. Obviously, that camera has some limitations compared to the A7s and FS7, but it seems like that camera body with the exact specs of an A7rII would be a huge hit. I do a little photography, but 95% of my work is video. And while I don't mind using the Sony A7s in doc-shoots (where the FS7 is just too large and imposing), it would make a lot of sense to have the form factor and usability of something like the VG900. Any possibility of this update? I'd buy it up and pair with my Loxias in a heartbeat. Anyone else up for this idea?
