While filming a YouTube video I've noticed occasional flickering for some reason, it happened only a few times in a 10 minute video. Here's a 30 second clip https://www.dropbox.com/s/znjxepwb1c9alyi/camera-problem.mp4?dl=0 if you look ~11 sec you'll start noticing some flickers and color change on the side. Have no idea how to address this, I'll try fixed ISO today. Any ideas? Thank you for your help!

Santa was very nice to me this year ... there was an a7Sii body under the tree. I engineer a live music radio show and like to shoot video once the audio mix is settled. I also like to shoot live music in dark, noisy bars. I'm learning! Already better results from previous Nikon P7700 video, but I've got way more variables to deal with. One I'm more adept with the a7Sii, I'll share experience with external audio feed to the camera. Added the FE24-240 because I wanted the 10x zoom more than great resolution. I also picked up a Fotodiox M42 adaptor so that I could use my old Pentax Spotmatic lenses. I also like to shoot macro, so I covet the 90mm macro lens. -- Mike

Hi all, I am wondering what are the specific options for shooting timelapses in HDR. I don't mind buying new hardware, mobile apps or using existing bracketing options in camera. What I like to achieve is programable timelapse, when each shot is shot in multiple exposures. My camera is Sony Alpha A7SII. Cheers for any input, JC

Has anyone tried USB battery packs with the A7sII or A7rII? Can they power the camera or charge the internal batteries when the camera is not in use? Thanks.

Finally got to test out the A7SII in Norway. I struggled going from stills to video the entire trip. Using the A7RII for stills and SII for footage. Just a short film documenting the workshop with Lofotentours.com. They did an amazing job, five stars!

I'm just wondering from all of you who own a Sony A7S, what is the largest print you have produced, that you are satisfied with the detail in the image? Also, if there is a large size you tried to have printed and realized it wasn't to your liking, in other words a cut off for maximum size of where you would take your prints, by learning first hand. My background with shooting and printing large was with the Canon 6D and I believe its just over 20MP, and the largest print I had done was 30x40. I don't think I would take it any farther than that, unless I learned how to upscale an image. I purchased the A7SII for mainly video, but wondering if I should go for it with photos too? Thank you in advanced.
