  1. Hello, I've recently been having issues only in the field when using my a7iii for video. The issue first appears with some kind of data write error, I can't remember the exact wording, but it's along the lines of "write error, recover?" I've been saying "cancel" to the recover, as it has another warning message that mentions further data loss. After I've cancelled/oked out of these messages I start getting "Unable to read memory card, Reinsert memory card. Slot 1" messages. The card reads fine in a pc, but the last video saved seems to be corrupted in some way, plays but with artefacts. I've had this happen with 2 separate cards now (lexar x2000s). Camera firmware 3.00. I have my dual card setup to write video to slot 1 and photo to slot 2, and I only have this issue with video and on slot 1. Has anyone else experienced anything like this, or know what's causing the issue? Thanks for your time!
  2. Hi @eugenio966, Sorry for the late reply. In the end I had to send the camera back. The sensor was faulty/damaged on arrival for me. Hope you manage to fix your issue!
  3. Hello, I've just received a brand new Sony a7iii from Amazon today, I took some test photos and video and noticed black dots appearing in a line down the image (4 -6 lines across the image). These dots also appear in the LCD screen and EVF and are picked up when focus peaking is on. Has anyone had this before and know if it's just a bad version/broken camera? I've attached 2 images, the one of the keyboard is a shot of a video I zoomed in on the lines in question in the top right of the image: The second image is a photo cropped in on the dots/lines: I tested with and without the lenses (took it away from the body briefly, lines still appeared). Thanks for any help with this!
