  1. I've read some good reports for using this combination with an adapter. Can anyone give me your opinion. What adapter?
  2. I recently switched from Nikon to a Sony a7 III. I have 2 lenses: the FE 24-105 f/4 and the FE 70-300 f/4.5-5.6. I need something with a better low light capability. I'm covered from 24mm to 300 mm so that probably means a prime lens. I'm here fishing for suggestions.
  3. I want to assign focusing to the Multi-Select ("joy stick") button. I should be able to (1) disable focus on the shutter release button by going to Camera Settings 1 Menu, page 6. I've done this. And then (2) I should be able to go to the Camera Settings 2 Menu, Page 8 and choose the picture Custom Key, and than screen 2 (of 3), and then the Multi-Select Button. According to what I've seen on YouTube, I should now see a screen with 2 choices: AF On Focus Hold If I choose AF On I've set the Multi-Select button as my back button focuser. I cannot find the screen with the two choices. What am I doing wrong?
  4. I learned long ago that depending on the manual was not a good idea. For my last 3 cameras (two of them Nikons) I went to books written specifically for the camera. It's an extra $20-$30, but I've never been disappointed. I purchased the Sony A7 III a few weeks ago and went to Amazon for this book https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1681984121/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It has been very helpful, and I've thrown in a few YouTube videos on specific subjects such as bracketing for HDR.
