  1. I'm by no means new to photography, but due to constant travel and hiking, I'm selling my Nikon DSLR in order to get a mirrorless sony (which i do not know much about)! My questions are... would you get the Sony A7, A7ii, or the A6000 + extra money for lens? I will mainly be taking Landscape photography as well as some night photography with the occasional portrait thrown in. What price conscious lenses would you recommend with any of these as well!? Thanks for the help and any pictures are appreciated
  2. I'm in that boring phase of picking my mirrorless system, comparing the Fuji X-T2 and the a6300/a6500. I don't want to shoot FF, since I'm downsizing from a FF DSLR specifically due to weight and size. I shoot primarily stills. I often read about people complaining about Sony's APS-C lenses. They're usually cheaper (or have the same price) as Fuji's for similar specs. The inventory of lenses seems fine to me; at least it covers all my needs between the 35mm 1.8, the 10-18 f/4, and the 18-105 (though this one is a bit too heavy for me; I may opt for the 18-135 despite it being slower). With price and inventory out of the way, we have optics (I can't count how many amazing photos I see online with APS-C camera/lenses), AF, feel, and WR (though only select lenses have WR on the Fuji as well). What am I missing? Should I not go with Sony APS-C?
  3. got an girlfriend chrissie change of plans . hahhaa
  4. Looking for an adapter that put the more common Canon lenses on a Sony E Mount? I’ve seen so many different ones online, would any of you recommend a certain one?
  5. I'm curious what lenses are you going for on the a7iii machine and how much did you get it for? I'm in the process of buying an a7iii body so I just wanted to see what lens should I invest for. I mainly do travel and wedding photography.
  6. I realized that the default exposure mode is Program Auto is stays on 120 shutter speed when i am shooting in 120 frames per second, which got me wondering "does the camera know better than me?" I can of course go manual and place the shutter at 250, but I am still curious. Thanks!
  7. Hi, I am thinking of moving from my Canon 70D to the new Sony A7III but I am stuck on what lenses to get. I'm really looking for 'general purpose' lenses. Preferably one that I can use for most of my photography and occasionally swap with other lenses. I mainly take landscape photos. I use currently have 24-105mm L Lens, 10-22mm lens, 50mm and 24mm lens for my Canon. Mostly using the 24-105. Any suggestions on what I should buy? Thanks!
  8. all the queries i asked are by me and my team , we are planning to do something big!!
  9. I paid $499 during the holidays and they currently running at $649. I don’t know if I got a good deal or not but I’m a beginner, feel like I’ve learned a lot so far and paid my moneys worth. Technology Mafia does a comparison on the 5100, 6000, 6300, 6500 and still thinks that the 6000 is still worth it. Also, listened to Stalman’s (I believe he works for The Verge And has his own podcast) podcast and he featured Chris Niccolls from TheCameraStoreTv and he mentioned that the 6000 is still worth it in 2018. My only concern is that they would release like a 6000v2 this year lol.
