  2. Thank you. It was my first time there and I only had a day and a half to really do any hiking and photography so I just sorta went with what felt right when taking pictures. I haven't been to Zion yet, and Cedar Breaks is very high on my list for this coming summer as I have seen some of the Milky Way and night photos taken there. I also want to go to Goblin State Park for some astrophotography. So far I have been to Arches, Canyonlands Needles, Green and Colorado River, and Island in the Sky Districts, Capital Reef, Grand Staircase Escalante and now Bryce. Utah just offers so many awesome sights and excellent opportunities for fun, and photography.
  3. Took a detour on the way to a job in the Phoenix area and camped at Bryce Canyon for two nights. Sony A7rii w/Zeiss 35/1.4 Sony A7rii wZeiss 55/1.8

  5. What firmware version are you using with your A7r2? Ever since I went to the lastest FW 3.30, Deep Sky Stacker isn't registering stars.
  6. I went to a little "Dark Sky Park" called Observatory Park near where I live to try and photo the supermoon. Unfortunately, the clouds came in and put the kibosh on that. But, what the clouds did manage to provide was a beautiful sunset. I only wish I had been set up for the sunset with my Zeiss 55/1.8 or Distagon 35/1.4 rather than shooting the moon with my G70200/4. Oh well. Observatory Park Sunset 3 by chiapeteater, on Flickr

That is an incredibly beautiful photo. Did you use Long Exposure Noise reduction when taking your shots or did you take separate dark photos after getting all your light photos? What stacking program did you use? I have used Deep Sky Stacker with some success on a few photos with multi-shot Milky Way photos.
  9. I have the A7Rii and purchased the Rokinon 24/1.4 for a trip out west to Colorado Nat. Monument, Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Pics came out very good with a 20 second exposure. Unfortunately, the clouds were not very cooperative and almost all my shots had some form of cloud in them. 10. Your picture is not showing up for me.
