  2. I shoot from the mosh pits, beer, glitter, etc. I almost always have a UV filter on to help protect the lens. I use Heliopan, B&W, and Hoya JCC
  3. Get a focus target and adjust the focal point. It may be front or back focusing.
  4. You can not for example set uncompressed unless you are already in raw. JCC
  5. I shoot lots of concerts, and most venues and artists forbid flash. At fashion events where I'm allowed to flash, use of focus assist is grounds for ejection, it shows up on other photographer's shots and ruins them. JCC
  6. The fairy lights in the foreground are very distracting. JCC
  7. So, inertia varies as distance squared, I guess thats because in motion its velocity squared. Makes sense. JCC
  8. I'll bite. I of course agree with shifting the weight, and have used a cheese plate to go further than the built in adjustments. Is the inertia of both weights the same? or is the math exponential rather than linear? I have noticed that with additional weight you need a much tighter grip on the rig to keep the tail from wagging the dog. JCC
  9. 55mm 1.8 is is very light, and good in low light. You can add counterweights to a gimbal to balance almost any lens. JCC
  10. I had the A7ii, and traded it in for an A7Rii. Huge improvement in pixels, and low light. I later added the A7S, and it is sooo much better in low light, both photos and video. You'll see from my gallery that I mostly shoot in the dark. 12MP is plenty for social media use, you just have to compose correctly, where with a very high MP camera you can shoot wide, and compose in post. 11. Sony did release the 85GM after the Batis 85, and they later released their own 85mm non GM, so it is possible, but the Zeiss 35 1.4 is exceptional, and you won't go wrong with it. JCC
  12. If you shoot weddings, a second body is almost a necessity. For me, wedding lens lineup is 16-35GM, 24-70GM, 70-200GM, 85GM, and a macro lens for ring and cake shots. JCC
  13. From back button Fn, go to the white balance, and joystick right to get to the white balance graph. Make sure you are centered, it looks like you are pulled all the way to G7. JCC
  14. In menu setting, are you able to change focus on the lettering? JCC
