Canon ep-s lens mount adaptors for a6300 - experiences?

Can any members kindly offer suggestions and experience about Canon ep-s lens mount adaptors for Sony a6300 - without 'breaking the bank' - Metabones appears very expensive, for example. Do the adaptors allow full functioning of metering, for instance? Presumably the auto-stabilisation is lost without going to the 6500 so it will be tripods most of the time.

 

I have a number of nice Canon lenses that are gathering dust whilst I am increasingly delighted with my a6300! It would be good to re-use some of them.

I use a "King" adapter which was $80 new.  However I don't know if it is still available, and any adapter runs the risk that auto focus might be defective.  My King has outlasted Metabone II and III and MC-11; but nearly all my Canon glass has now been sold to cover native mount lenses.

I personally use a Photodiox adapter that I bought new for 100 $. But the comment that needs to be known is that focusing is very slow and you may not be able to use the canon glass for a moving subject. 

Please see this link but as you said, you have canon glass that you would love to use. In case you develop the skill of manual focusing and using the peaking of the camera, you may be much happier than auto focusing. I had a canon 10-18 that was reasonable practical on with the adapter but sold it after buying the sony 10-18. Now my only canon lens is the 15-85 which is a really great lens if you can live with the slow focus or go manual.

Thank you gentlemen for your replies. As Taher says, slow focusing would be "a killer" and very difficult to accept the slow or manual focus requirement. I am going to stick with the native Sony OSS lens for the moment and may eventually want to upgrade to the a6500 so as to be able to use other e-mount lenses. Whilst I would love to buy into A7iii etc, I have to recognise that this is a hobby for my pleasure rather than a business.

From my experience I believe you will find the A6500 an amazing camera...I use it for 85% of my shots, my A7Rii for 15%.
