Problem with RAW files?

I took some shots with my new α7 (using a tripod) in raw+jpg mode and was surprised to see that the jpg files were sharper than the raw ones. I know that jpg files, are a product of  in camera processing, but was not expecting such a difference. Is it normal?

In general terms, yes. The extent of the difference depends on the settings in your camera and in your raw developer.
