A6000 and Canon tele with IS

Does the image stabilisation on a Canon Tele zoomlens keep working on a Sony A6000 with a Metabones adapter?

It's supposed to, but individual or particular lens to body 

combinations sometimes let you down. Make sure to use 

the latest firmware throughout all three components, and 

confirm that you have privilege to return it for full refund.  

   

If you already own the Canon lens, this is worth trying. If 

you do not yet own the lens, intending to buy both a lens 

and adapter, forget it. Buy a direct E-mount OSS lens.
