Hello, I need to buy a 50p camera for 4K (UHD) video. Do you know if Sony Alpha A7S III will be 50p?

Everything right now is rumor. I don't think you'll get a solid answer at this point. Same goes for when the mark 3 will ship.

We don’t even know that there will be such a thing. You will have to wait for a formal announcement.

Both Nikon and Canon are rumoured to announce new full frame mirrorless cameras early in 2018. One guess is that Sony will be waiting for those announcements before announcing their next full frame mirrorless camera.

 

Typically, they'll have a few different prototypes and can decide which one to go with after they see the competition. If Nikon or Canon has strong video features, Sony will match or beat them. They have the tech, It's just a matter of using it.
