A7riii Hold Focus Settings

Hi all

 

I'm having issues getting the focus hold setting to work. I wan't to be able to autofocus once and then keep focus constant but none of the settigs I've tried so far work. Right now I switch to DMF to set focus and then quickly to MF to keep i there but it's a rather unsmooth workflow. How do you guys go about this with stills and video?

Thanks, I actually do but it keeps re-setting focus as soon as the compostion changes in all focus-modes except manual (turned of shutter-focus).

Have you deactivated AUTOFOCUS WITH SHUTTER?

Are you continuing to hold down the focus lock button(s)?

On most models BBAF is cancelled in PHD modes.
