Wunthar
Hello, Everyone! I have purchased a Sony zoom lens SEL 18-200 mm which is loose in its sleeve/tube. But I noticed it very late, and cannot return it to the seller. Is it normal the lens slides out or in with gravity? It is very weird with my objective. When I point the lens downwards to take photos, the focus is changed itself. illogical for an objective. Where and how can it be repaired if it is an error? Thanks in advance. Username
Many zoom lenses have "gravity creep". If it's not so extreme that you failed to notice it at first, then it's not so extreme as to be considered defective.
Guest Jaf-Photo
Very typical on this lens. But there's a zoom lock you can use to fix the lens when you're walking around.
