monitoring A7 output

I have an A7. I also have an Ikan VX7e  7" monitor.  I would like to connect a Micro HDMI out of the camera to the HDMI input on the monitor and see a full raster- full frame -HD -real time- signal on the monitor. (What I see on the back of the camera)   I have tried this link, but I get a smaller 4x3 picture on the monitor in SD.

Am I missing a set up selection in the A7 camera that will allow this to happen?  If this in not possible with the equipment I have, what would you suggest I do to accomplish this goal. Could you send me the specifics on how to set up my A7.
