A7r III Deactivate Monitor Missing

I just for my A7R III and was setting it up the way I setup my A7R II and every other A7 series camera I've owned, even my A9s.

 

I usually set C4 (trash) button to deactivate monitor.

This is invaluable for me and they way I shoot.

 

I cannot find this menu item anywhere and there doesn't seem to be a way to deactivate the monitor, short of turning it off completely, which is a big usability issue for me.

If Sony has replaced or renamed this functionality with something else, someone please enlighten me.

On my α9 I use C2 on the Custom Key(shoot) menu and set it to ‘Finder/Monitor sel.’ And Monitor set to Manual.

There is a menu entry for selecting 'Monitor/Viewfinder'. You can set it to manual and then assign the select function to a button. Works on my A7rIII.
