Cropping the face of the "victim" and of the coiffeur like you did gives a very good balance (imo) of the intimate interaction between the two persons involved. The sad look on the face of the victim, although taking up a considerable portion of the image, helps to distract from what the actor in the background, although blurred, is doing. On a side note, but not unrelated: I always thought, that the use of these cutting machines was considered "bad craftsmanship" among coiffeurs. Which of course the result of his work disproves ...
