How to Lock the Wheel on a A7R2

Hi All. I have an A7R2 and I am trying to lock the wheel.

Here is what I've done to try to do this.

Menu/Cog, Gear/8/Dial/Wheel lock/Lock.

I also press the Fn button for a few seconds until it says locked.

After I've done all this, I can still press the wheel ISO, and change the settings and Display, etc etc.

Am i missing something or do I have to send the camera in for repair?

Are you seeing the "LOCK" notice on the LCD ?

Sorrrrry .....

You already stated it "says locked", but somehow

I read that as "stays locked" .... anywho, I don't

use it much. But when I do use it, I use it cuz I do

sometimes accidentally spin that little wheel.

The lock fixes the accidental spin thing, but IIRC

all other controls involved with that cluster do still

operate. My menus are a bit different than yours,

but in my menus the "lock" is specifically referred

to as "WHEEL Lock". So it makes sense that you

can still operate the other nearby controls.

Hi, on the A7R2, when you go into the Menu, there is a "Dial/Wheel Lock" section and you can choose either lock or unlock. I choose lock because I occasionally spin that little wheel and it changes my ISO. But it seems that lock doesn't do anything.

It's no big deal , I was just wondering if I was doing something wrong.
