Hello all,

I want to play more with my Sony a6300 shooting portraits. I did buy the E-Mount 1.8/50.

I have been browsing around to find the right settings for shooting portraits and/or headshot with the sony a6300 but mixed reactions so far.

Any advice, any thoughts ?

Thanks for your help,

G

Yes. My suggestion is to set the camera to "M" manual then adjust the aperture and exposure to your liking. So for example if you photograph a person and want a very diffused background set the aperture to around 1.8 and adjust the exposure time to where the image seems adequately lit.
