Hi, can anyone recommend a remote control to operate the shutter on my A77. I've seen them from as little as £10 on Ebay, but I'm worried that they could damage the electronics in my camera. I don't want anything too sophisticated, just something to fire the shutter. Many thanks in advance

A basic cable release from eBay will do the job mate.

 

I've had one for years with no issues. Used it on a A58 A77ii and A6000 all with no issues.

A basic one from eBay will do the job.

 

I've got one had it over 3 years. Used on my A58 A77ii and A6000
