A7S MF Assist Compatible w/ Video?

I've been using the MF Assist on the A7S in the video recording mode, but I did something and now I can't get it to work again. Even when it's selected in the menu, the MF assist will not zoom in when I start to refocus, despite having done this before.

 

All I want to to have the picture zoom in when I start to refocus. It is working in all other modes, just not video.

 

I'm using a canon lens with a metabones E-EF adapter. Thanks!
