Basic high frame rate questions for A7SII

When shooting a 24fps project and needing to slow down parts of it,  does it matter if I shoot the intended footage to slow down at 60fps or 120fps? Can 60fps footage be used with either a 24fps or 30fps project and can 120fps be used with either a 24fps or 30fps project?

Thanks.

Short answer - yes, all OK.

Cleanest high speed conversion to chosen project frame rate will always be a direct multiple of the frame rate, but modern editing systems are very very good at converting images so you can pretty much shoot whatever you want and get away with it to some extent.
Just note that, depending on your particular camera, if you are say shooting 24fps (NTSC mode) in HD 1080p, then 120fps might only be 720p, whereas 60fps will still be 1080p.

edit:  just checked the specs for the A7SII... noted it does record 1080p at 120fps... nice!
