Canon T70 lens adapter

There are adapters for common SLR lenses

including yours. Strictly manual operation but

the adapter provides a proper flange distance.

You can also consider a SpeedBooster [aka

"focal reducer"] which does cost extra, but is

really worth it. Metabones is the premium line

but there are economy versions as well.

Novoflex is the most expensive, but inferior to

Metabones. I borrowed a $25 adapter and it

worked well enuf, but when it came to owning

one for long term use, I went the extra $65 for

the Metabones. Oddly enuf, the verrrry pricey

Novoflex incorporates the design flaw that was

reason for not buying the economy versions.

Unless your old lenses are very special it's not

really a good idea. Wrong format, extra weight

and bulk, slower operation etc. But for a macro

or 8mm fisheye [forget the 16], or certain other

optics, there's good reason and good results.

Hopefully your old lenses are FD and not FDn

versions. FDn versions can be very fussy as to

which adapters will work. FD is no problem.
