A7M2 with LA-EA3

I am using my A7M2 with a 70-400mm Sony A mount lens via an LA-EA4 adapter which I had to have for my original A7. It's not bad on autofocus but wonder whether it would be better to use an LA-EA3 and eliminate the semi translucent mirror and focusing system.

 

Anyone any comparative experience with the two adapters on an A7M2 please?

I use both. Other than a half stop loss  

for the SLT I don't see any difference.  

   

Not really needing AF for most work, I 

use the LAEA3 more often.
