brendonc
Hello, My question relates to the Sony a6500. I've searched google and youtube but can't find an answer. For some reason I can't get 'Lock-on AF: Expandable spot' to work while in video mode. It's just greyed out. Welcome, dear visitor! When I try selecting it, it says this function is not available in manual shooting mode. So I tried the other modes (eg. shutter priority and aperture priority) but the same happened. Any help with this would be so much appreciated. It's driving me crazy. Thanks in advance. Username
` Apparently that method of focus does not apply during video. Prolly doesn't work with the iris constantly at working aperture. `
Guest Jaf-Photo
Check out Gary Friedman's videos on youtube. They'll walk you through Sony's AF system; including its limitations, which is normal.
