I shot this from a crouched position in a stream near Medellín, Colombia. A friend on my left held a softened flash unit, and the camera was a Sony A6000 with 10-18mm lens set on 18mm. Although it was a sunny day, it was quite dark within the trees. The exposure was 1/30 sec at f4.5 (ISO200).

A paisa I presume. Very well done, beautiful lighting but I would have much preferred the image with out the flowers in the water. Whether they are or not they look superimposed on the water and really don't fit the tropical forest environment. It might have been more interesting to work in one of the big blue Morpho butterflies which were probably flitting about along that stream. On the other hand if you hadn't mentioned the location no one would know as the foliage is indistinct except for what looks like a liana on the left and the shot could just as well have been taken in the Ozarks. If the goal was a "fantasy" scene it success very well.
