Recommended settings for a6000 with Sony 3.5-5.6/16-50 OSS for outdoor party

What mode dial function and settings would people recommend for a6000 with Sony 3.5-5.6/16-50 OSS for outdoor party. In the shade on a warm sunny day with clear blue sky background. Shots are mainly people in the shade though some may have sunligh on faces. How about flash fill for better face lighting. What is the sweet spot on the 16-50mm. I can move to get proper framing. All shots will be with mono-pod, technically not a must but I have a slight tremor hence mono-pod helps greatly.

You have lots of options...practice before the event and try out Auto Green as suggested by User, but I personally would choose aperture priority, lowest ISO that gives a reasonably fast shutter speed, multi metering but add some positive exposure compensation if subjects primarily in the shade with bright background.  Flash fill is fine, but I would recommend it be at reduced power to avoid flash exposed faces.
