Live Streaming with A6500

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to ask but got to start somewhere. I have a client that has asked if I can live stream and record a training event. Never done anything like this before so I need to get some advice before I decide to say yes or no we will need to hire in some experts.

 

I need to ensure a couple of factors;

 

1) The upload speed is sufficient to live stream with no issues from the venue

2) The equipment I need to be able to produce the result needed

 

The venue have told me they can hardwire a connection and have an upload speed of approx 25mbps, this will be sufficient for at least a 720p live streaming feed in my limited knowledge.

 

For the second question I will be using my A6500 shooting in 1080p as some of the filming may be required to go over 30 minutes and I can't risk an overheating issue. I will therefore be looking at switching to a keynote presentation intermittently so I can restart a recording session and avoid any problems. Would the blackmagic web presenter therefore be the only extra equipment I need? Looking at details it would seem I need to buy the smart panel to switch between feeds (camera and Mac?) so around $600 (about £500).

 

Has anybody got any knowledge in live streaming with the A6500? Am I asking for trouble trying to film so much footage (looking at about 3 x 90min sessions) 

 

Any help/advice would be appreciated.
