Best video lens for Sony Next 7?

Hi there,

 

I am looking to film a canoe trip. I will be filming landscape shots, shots of canoeing, portaging, and also "interviews". I am wondering what the best video lens are for these purposes? I currently have the kits lens and the Sony 50mm f/1.8 OSS.

I would say you are set. The 18-55mm is a good kitlens and you can use it for general filming.

 

The 50mm f1.8 is also a good lens, particularly for portraits, so you can use that for interviews.

 

As they both have AF and OSS you should get usable video with minimal effort.
