Does the RX1 EVF (FDA-EV1MK) work with the a7 series?

Hi, has anyone tested the RX1 EVF (FDA-EV1MK) with the a7 series (a7, a7r or a7ii)? I have the RX1 and really like how the EVF tilts to take shots at difficult angles. I know the a7 series has a built in EVF (and a live view screen that tilts), but it would be great to use my RX1 EVF with the a7 series (I'm thinking of buying an a7r, or soon to be released a7rii). Thanks.

This is my first post in this forum.   the viewfinder can not be attached to the A7 in any way. 

I use it on my RX100 II and hx50V.  the A7´s do not have the inteligent port or whatever the sony name nor the electrical contacts.

my viewfinder suffers a reflection using glases probably because the glasses (my spectacles).

the angle graduation is the best point . good in sunny day, designed a bit forward for glasess wear.    a pity.

I am accustomed to a Ricoh GXR finder.  is a bit better ergonomically , poour than sony.

i like the 45º angle and i would like to check a Panasonic GX7 also.

Thanks for the reply. That's disappointing to hear, hopefully sony will change that in future a7 models.
