OK cool. I'll consider an adaptor then, since I have the lens anyway...

What would you recommend?

What would you recommend?

Novoflex, Kipon and Metabones make the best adapters. I like to keep the adapter on the lens so I buy a lot of Kiwi. It saves time when packing or changing lenses. Kiwi make cheap adapters that are good. No loose screws or wonky fits.

  Yes, I had the same problem with this new firmware version for Sony, I upgraded from 2.01 to 3.00 ARW (raw) files, created with camera with new firmware didn’t open in Photoshop 2022, Adobe Camera Raw 14.5 Solution was to upgrade Camera Raw onto 16.2, and now it amazingly works 🙂

  The UV filter will do nothing except provide some minor protection to your lens. Like @tadwil wondered: what effect do you hope to achieve?
