SEL18200 only going back to F5.0 when zooming out

Hi all,

 

When I zoom out on my SEL18200 the F-value won't go back to F3.5. It keeps staying at F5 as the minimum. When I zoom in the F-value increase to F6.3 - as expected, but again, when I zoom out F is not going below '5'. 

 

Any recommendations what the issue could be?

You set it to f/5 so it holds to f/5 unless 

you go to longer FLs that don't allow an 

aperture that big.  

   

Set it to 3.5 and you will see the whole 

range and the loss of speed as you go 

to longer FLs.
