24-70 FE Optical SteadyShot Problem - Humming/grinding noise

I just purchased this lens used, and it randomly started making an abnormal sound. It doesn't consistently do this, and will stop if I turn the camera off and then turn it back on. I haven't been able to find out any information about why this might be happening

Definitely not normal. My 24-70 is silent.
