Hello people.

After taking up photography (in a very amateur way), after a number of years, I'm now on my 3rd Sony camera in less than 12 months. Not because there's been any problems, but because I've upgraded as my financial situation improved.

My first was the W830 (not an alpha of course). A great little compact camera.

Then I chanced upon a NEX 3 in my local charity shop. Suspicious at first, that such a quality item should have been donated instead of sold. Everything worked fine and I was very happy with it. However, it did have 20000+ shutter actuations.

My third, and current camera is the NEX 7. The best I have ever owned.

I'm still getting to grips with it but I'm more than satisfied so far.

Bought from mpb.com for around £280 (body), and only around 2500 shutter actuations.

A little sign of wear on the bottom but otherwise perfect.
