Viewfinder issue, can you help?

Hi all,

 

I have just upgraded to a 99ii and it's the first time I have owned a camera with a fully digitised viewfinder. The problem I'm having is that when tracking a subject the image displayed in the viewfinder freezes when I take the shot. I need a continuous live feed so I can continue to focus on the subject and take rapid single shots. Any idea how to achieve a live stream as there's nothing in the instruction book?

there is a setting for reviewing the shot, something like 2s 5s or Off. Try with Off.

Ahhh and suddenly it all makes sense, wasn't expecting a shot review in the view finder! Have only been used to getting that on the back LCD until now. Thanks Timde.
