Color peaking: Sony A7II

Hi Community! 

I've been having problems recording video with my Sony A7II. Yesterday we did a session on stage with a band, and the blue lights completely destroyed the footage. As you can see in the photos, it's really noticeable.

 

Settings: ISO 1600, F. 4, S. 60, Slog2, XAVC S HD, 25 fps (50M). I was using a Metabones adaptor to EF lens, and a Canon 18-135 IS STM. I'm concerned about the blue range, creating that terrible burned effect. 

Before the gig started, we noticed about it and kept Cinema as Color Mode, but put the Saturation at -15, Color Phase at -7 and Blue range in -7 inside Color Phase. As you can see, didn't work at all. 

 

 

From another angle, a Sony a6300 was recording with a Sigma 18-35, ISO 6400, F. 1.8, S. 200, Slog2, XAVC S HD, 100 fps (100M). As you can see, the recording is completely different and well balanced. 

 

 

This also happened to me in the same venue, equal light conditions, using a Sony A7S II. Can somebody provide me a clue to fix it in the future? Is it normal considering that the Sony A7 II and A7S II are more expensive and full frame?

I shoot at a venue that sprays everything with blue / purple lights yet my footage doesn't come across as muddy as yours. (A7SII) I think you over wrenched things by over thinking the settings. (Frames from original video file. No exposure or color correction made. ISO 5000. Cine 3. 60mbps. 59.94 fps. progressive. ƒ4.0. Man focus)
