Wooden Camera or Metabones E to PL mount for A7RII

Hey folks,

 

Im looking into buying a PL to E mount adapter. Ive done some research and landed on these 2.

 

1. Wooden Camera PL Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera Pro Adapter.

2. Metabones PL to E-Mount Adapter with Internal Flocking.

 

What are your thoughts? Any other adapter that I should consider? Any advice would be appreciated.

I too would be interested in seeing how and if these work.

 

It's my understanding the won't be able to auto focus on an E mount camera.

 

Do you currently own the PL lenses? Or are you just considering getting some?

Fair enough. Auto focus isn't an issue on my end.

 

No I do not own PL lenses however, Im on set almost 20 days a month. I can grab some from the camera dept to test out. Just wondering which adapter to get if anyone's got experience with either.

I haven't seen any reviews but I have seen add in B&H for such adapters.

 

I'd love to see the results.
