Circular polarizer Zeiss T same schott glass and coatings as the Zeiss lenses made by cosina seems to be better made than B&W(stays round) and usually acouple of bucks cheaper. Neutral density buy a holder that fits this lens and will fit other lenses you own and uses 4X4 /100 mm square filters Singh Ray, formatt hi-tech or heliopan.

I don't have experience with Zeiss filters but I've been quite happy with my B+W circular polarizer. I also have a Hoya ND that performs well.

With respect to ND filters, I was planning on picking up a few more Hoya of different densities but Sony came out with the Sky HDR and Smooth Reflections apps. For what I shoot the apps were a fraction of the price and negated the need for more ND's. Of course, your needs may differ.

Your 70-200 f/4 takes a 72mm filter. Have you thought about future proofing your filter purchases by buying larger filters (say 82mm or 86mm) if you can afford them? You could use them on the 72mm 70-200 via a step up ring and should you purchase a lens with a larger filter diameter in the future your filter would be usable on that lens as well. Just a suggestion.

Username,

"If your using a live view mirrorless camera you don't need a circular polarizer"

Care to explain in more detail how live view negates the benefits of a CP in certain shooting conditions. Were you being serious?
