Hello all. I joined the forum at the start of the year after acquiring the much-maligned Hasselblad HV (which, as everyone knows, is an A99 in different clothes), but haven't posted since then.

In the intervening period, I've added a few lenses covering the focal lengths I need, and recently picked up a Sony A7II - primarily to use with my A-mount glass via the LA-EA4 adapter, my Pentax K-mount glass (I've been an avid Pentax shooter for some time), and a few favourite M42 lenses. I have no native E-mount glass and don't plan on adding any, but never say never  :P I'm still getting to grips with the A7II, but finding it mostly straightforward as the user interface is very similar to the HV. I like being able to use all of my lenses on one camera.

I mentioned that I also shoot Pentax. From a pure DSLR perspective, I love Pentax equipment and find it very pleasant and satisfying to use (I prefer the ergonomics to my HV, in all honesty)... but I've fallen in love with Sony's EVF for manual focus - it works incredibly well for the types of photography I enjoy.

Anyway, I promise this will be my last intro / welcome message, but I felt it was worth re-introducing myself now that I'm fully on-board with Sony :)

Below, a shot taken with the HV a little earlier this year (be gentle, please - I'm not a great photographer and have much to learn!)...
