More tidbits about the new camera:[/b] I have been told the A7 camera series was a Sony “attempt” to study the market. This new PRO FE camera was developed with maximum possible resources and tech knowledge. It will be Sony’s first serious camera to fight against the big ones. We will finally see if Mirrorless can succeed against DSLR cameras when it comes to “grab” the professional market. That camera is also the main reason why Sony is launching their PRO service all over the world (article on SAR here). It’s also very likely there will be different variations of that new camera generations coming during 2015 and 2016.

 

I hope Sony is studying also this design!

I can wait one year longer for such body, no AF, dedicated manual operation only to match the Loxia lenses and 5 axis stab.

yet the design you hope Sony is studying, the

Contax that you used to illustrate your point,

is certainly NOT any " .... dedicated manual

operation only" type of camera. Anywho, face

facts, production-economies-wise: "dedicated

manual operation only" won't sell in numbers

that justify a special model. You can, at best,

hope for an interface that allows you to hide

features you never use in a manner so really

well-hidden that, to the user, it's as if all those

unused features never existed. 

   

BTW kinda cool the blank s/n on the Contax ;-)

proper thread adapter ring I can fit that

cap to my Nex-7 and let you all know if

I hope sony can announce A99ii in CP+

36MP(or more) CMOS with out LP filter (looks like A7R)

High availabllity ISO (better than A7II)

enhanced A77II SLT 4D AF system with PDAF(looks like A99)

Built-in S LOG-2 and 4K video system(Important)

Short shutter Lag (looks like A77II)

5 asix stabilizing system (looks like A7II)

High resolution EVF and viewfinder
