Golem
So far, so good ! I see an odd mix conventional approach and defiance of convention. Convention is in the softening effects and in the "female innocence" expression. But the guardians of convention would object to the head-on pose, the lighting and possible tell you the you MUST have catch lights in the eyes. Personally, I am pleased that the defiance side of the ledger is greater than the compliance side :-)

Golem
Thank you Golem, i will try again. Hope to get more feedback from you I see this shot got the SAR Photo-of-the-Week award. To me, that reminds me of what I said above, that you mixed both compliance with some conventional expectations and defiance of convention in other aspects of the shot. The defiance of convention and cliche sets the shot apart from other less innovative "pretty lady" shots ... but it has enuf of the "comfort zone" conventional qualities to prevent a majority of viewers from rejecting it on first glance it as being "too radical". I hope you're aware and skilled about the fine line you walk so that this one award winner isn't just a happy accident. Whole idea is to lure viewers who mostly fear to leave their comfort zone, but stealthily take them to the very edge of that zone ... or even lure them a bit outside it without "scaring them away" Best to you ! - Golem
