Recently I was lucky to have the opportunity to go on a photographic recce to Iceland with Ralph Hardwick of Capturelight; Ralph is offering photographic trips off the beaten track, restricted to just two clients at a time.

I find that as long as the lens is stopped down it behaves pretty well. I have seen a bit of smearing occasionally, but not had any real issues. On the A7s I somftimes see purple areas towards the corners, but only in low light situations.

 

The lens correction in Lightroom does quite a good job with distortion.
