Being Mac based it is not relevant to me (Resolve & FCP) but the rumours indicate that it will get proper support and will likely be a decent alternative to Premier.

I've used Vegas since v2. Very user friendly to learn & use. For the past year users knew something was up & sure enough Magix purchased it. Users view this as good news. In late September Magix will launch v14 which will include H.265 CODEC which is the future for UHD video. Stay tuned.

 

I don't know if Magix will develop Vegas for Mac. I hope they do as I prefer Mac but most of my creative software is on PC. We'll see!
