I had sailed my boat, from Falmouth, out to the isles of Scilly , and I was anchored in the channel between  Bryher & Tresco.

I woke up next morning, and had one of them, hovering about 2 inches from my nose.  It did make me jump, I thought it was a hornet !

When they are not hovering, they move so quickly , its incredible.
