The new 55mm FE is defintiely abit sharper. But I would really love Sony to make an E-mount 50mm f/1.4 too.

 Why because you like that number? I'm continually amazed at the blur/bokeh crowd. You will force the lens manufactures to follow this stupid path to our general detriment.
