Reports seem to indicate that the new 1dxii is finally there or there-abouts (even in difficult low light situations). Will be interesting to see how Sony responds. And whether they respond at the equivalent price level or within the current consumer range.

Personally I think MF will always retain advantages in some settings but once it's possible to reliably AF on a touch screen and change the speed at which the focus shifts it'll get interesting.
