Nikon F to Sony E with AF

What is the latest situation on these two adapters?

 

Commlite:

The last update on Commlite is that its working decently for the most part but waiting for V3 firmware and hardware in March (thx John).  Price seem to go up with every update/batch $349 to $369 to $399 on Ebay vendors.  Still considered beta and not widely released (ever???).  Still unavailable for new purchase if one didn't get an order in on Ebay before they sold out.

 

Steel Chen's:

Nice couple of videos in January posted by SAR Admin but silent since.  I've sent a direct email to Steel Chen's gmail address without any response.  At this point its a single prototype and is a vaporware for practical purposes.  No pricing or availability forecast.

 

Any others?  My last correspondence with Metabones resulted in them saying is not on the schedule of products but rumors persist (wishful thinking by Nikkor owners??).

 

With all these new adapters (Teacart, Sigma) it would be great if Nikkor glass can join the AF party.....

I am thinking the same thing this morning when I saw it on the BH newsletter too.

 

The images of the two adapter certainly looks the same, especially the tripod mount.

 

Kinda still hoping they are different so we get more alternatives, but as vello is like the brand name for "rebrand" stuff... probably the same adapter.
