Any Way to Boost Sony A7R WiFi Signal Strength?

Is there any way to boost the wifi strength of the Sony A7R camera? Something that will give the camera's wifi more range?

but I know it can't be extended in camera

I tested my A7rII with a Samsung S4 and was able to fire and review the image from 112 feet away.  This was inside the studio with one wall between the phone and the camera.  Not sure if the A7r has the same WiFi system.  Not sure how much further away I can go before this combination loses its connection.  Ran out of space in the studio.

why in the world would you want to be further than that anyways? even 30 or 50 feet? I can't think of any situation where that would be useful

No idea why you would want to be 112 or more away.  Interesting to know how powerful the WiFi is though!

Something like a landscape shot where having a person in the shot makes it more interesting and you happen to be that person.

I added a Vello wireless Shutterboss which does add distance for a shutter release.  The camera receiver part can be mounted to face whatever direction to your position.  It can be used with Playmemories, which means less delay but then it's back to the internal wifi again.

Are you talking about uploading from camera to computer? Then the best way ist to have camera close to the router. Distance camera to computer is irrelevant.
